Caro’s Story
Caro’s life has been a journey of faith, service, and walking alongside others. From volunteering with the Red Cross as a teenager, to serving as a prison chaplain, youth leader, and charity worker, she has always been drawn to helping those on the margins.
Her path has taken her through Baptist, Catholic, and ecumenical communities, shaped by a deep love of liturgy, music, and shared spirituality. She knows both the joy of feeling close to God and the struggle of feeling distant — experiences that now inform the way she supports others.
Today Caro is bringing to life Apple Bough House, a long-held vision for a space of reflection and spiritual accompaniment. As she trains formally in Spiritual Direction, her heart remains the same: to create a place where people feel welcomed, heard, supported, and encouraged on their own journeys.
